Responsable de Planificación, Innovación y Mejora de Procesos

About the role

We are looking for a Planning, Innovation and Process Improvement Manager to lead operational planning, drive continuous improvement and explore new technologies in a logistics and port environment. The role is based in Nueva Palmira and requires a balance between office analysis and on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational plans aligned with client needs and resource availability, coordinating staff, equipment and infrastructure.
• Identify gaps between planned and executed activities, anticipate constraints and propose corrective actions.
• Map existing processes, detect inefficiencies, bottlenecks and non‑productive time, and design optimization proposals.
• Document procedures and support supervisors during implementation of improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create and monitor performance indicators (productivity, time, cost, quality), analyse trends and recommend preventive or corrective measures.
• Spot innovation opportunities, evaluate AI, automation and advanced data‑analysis solutions, run pilot tests and liaise with technology providers.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management or related fields.
• Experience in planning, operations, logistics, process management or continuous improvement is valued.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and effective communication.
• Willingness to work both in the office and on the field in Nueva Palmira or nearby areas (residence required).
