QA Automation/SDET & Java Technical Leader (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior QA Automation/SDET professional to lead our test automation strategy and drive quality across global product teams. This fully remote position combines hands‑on automation development with technical leadership, ensuring that critical business cases are reliably tested and delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the global vision for quality assurance and test automation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to establish acceptance criteria, definition of ready and done.
• Identify, prioritize, and automate high‑impact business cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based automated test frameworks.
• Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous test execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the QA automation team.
• Research emerging testing technologies and evaluate their value for the organization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation using Java.
• Strong background in Agile environments and CI/CD practices.
• Proven ability to lead client and stakeholder meetings and translate requirements into test solutions.
• Native‑level Spanish and advanced English communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in team management, risk identification, and project planning.
