Python Backend Engineer (Semi‑Senior/Senior) – Remote

About the role

Dribble Works is seeking a Python Backend Engineer to join a high‑impact engineering team that builds large‑scale backend systems, data pipelines, and API infrastructure for a major U.S. real‑estate technology platform. The role is fully remote and focuses on both modern Python services and the migration of legacy components within a complex AWS ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL and large‑scale data processing pipelines.
• Integrate with multiple external vendors and REST APIs.
• Build, optimize, and support backend APIs and microservices.
• Migrate legacy systems to modern Python‑based architectures.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a distributed environment.
• Participate in weekly production deployment cycles and cloud‑operations automation.
• Contribute to internal tooling, monitoring, and operational workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Python backend development at a semi‑senior or senior level.
• Proven ability to build and maintain ETL/data processing workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with REST API design and integration.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable working with Docker, Linux, and shell scripting.
• Ability to debug complex production systems and work autonomously.
