Programador/a de CNC

About the role

Arboreal S.A. is looking for a CNC Programmer to join its large mass‑timber plant in Tacuarembó, Uruguay. The role involves programming, setting up, and monitoring CNC machines that produce master panels and beams for the plant’s production line.

Key responsibilities

• Receive technical drawings and specifications from the technical office.
• Program BVX files for processing master panels and master beams.
• Interpret drawings, configure CNC machines and ensure accurate cutting.
• Optimize production times by planning load, unload and process sequencing.
• Track and control produced pieces (GLT and CLT) and maintain documentation.
• Print labels, drawings and nesting files, and keep the paperwork organized.
• Load production sheets and assign projects to panels and beams.
• Prepare daily processing orders and verify material stock.
• Report errors to the CNC Production & Dispatch Manager and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet standards and correct deviations.

Required profile

• Formal training in Technical Drawing.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit or Inventor.
• Basic knowledge of English.
• Familiarity with CNC processing software is a plus.
