Principal, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Data & Services is seeking a Principal Client Business Partner to lead a strategically significant client relationship within its Services division. This senior leadership position owns the end‑to‑end Services agenda for the account, acting as a trusted executive advisor and driving profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, shape, sell, and deliver complex advisory engagements for a major client.
• Achieve defined sales, revenue, and delivery targets while ensuring delivery excellence.
• Serve as the primary executive liaison to senior client leadership, influencing strategic decisions.
• Develop and mentor talent within the account team.
• Contribute to Mastercard Services’ intellectual capital and market reputation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in business development, consulting, or advisory services.
• Track record of independently managing large, strategic client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
• Excellent executive communication and relationship‑building skills.
