Principal Salesforce Consultant – Nonprofit

About the role

As a Principal Salesforce Consultant you will lead strategic engagements for nonprofit clients, designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions while embedding AI capabilities to accelerate development and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business development to scope engagements, provide Level of Effort estimates and support pre‑sales activities.
• Serve as the primary Solution Designer, leading platform road‑mapping, prioritisation and ROI discussions.
• Translate complex business processes into functional and technical requirements and drive high‑stakes client conversations.
• Build and customise Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and third‑party apps using VS Code, Salesforce CLI and AI coding assistants.
• Architect and execute complex data migrations and integration strategies (point‑to‑point or iPaaS).
• Develop and deliver change‑management plans, including training, communication and rollout strategies.
• Create reusable assets such as industry templates and publish thought‑leadership content on emerging tech trends.
• Coach team members, interview candidates and cross‑train resources on new platform capabilities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive Salesforce consulting experience on enterprise‑level engagements.
• Expert‑level experience configuring Nonprofit Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, including declarative automation (Flows) and advanced customisations.
• Proven ability to plan and execute complex data migrations and integrations.
• Track record of scoping engagements, generating accurate LoEs and leading pre‑sales and change‑management initiatives.
• Strong executive‑level presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
