.NET Software Developer - Denied Parties Screening

About the role

Descartes, a global leader in logistics and supply chain technology, is growing its R&D team in Montevideo and is looking for two .NET developers to build solutions for internal and external customers in denied and restricted parties screening. The developer contributes to every stage of the application lifecycle, from user requirements and functional specifications through design, coding, testing and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new application functionality and maintain existing products.
• Communicate with colleagues, business and non-technical staff and customers in a collaborative team environment.
• Assist in staff training and technical audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience with software product development.
• Good attention to detail, strong analytical ability and ability to focus on task completion and deadlines.
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changes in business goals.
• High standard of customer service and quality, independently motivated and proactive.
• Equally proficient in frontend and backend development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, C# and MVC; Angular and TypeScript are a plus.
• Development environment: Azure, IIS, MS SQL Server and Visual Studio.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software design patterns.
• Demonstrated experience with the Agile/Scrum framework.

What we offer

• Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 UY, depending on skills and experience.
