Loan Operations Specialist

About the role

As a Loan Operations Specialist you are the operational backbone that moves a deal from a signed quote to a funded transaction. You will own order creation, document generation, signature chase, delivery confirmation and ensure every deal is ready to fund without delays.

Key responsibilities

• Run the ops lifecycle: own order creation, payment link setup, document generation and tracking, delivery confirmation, and acceptance sign‑off, meeting SLA requirements.
• Get deals ready to fund: collaborate with Risk and Capital Markets to identify deal requirements, then coordinate with clients and GTM to gather, validate and structure all necessary information.
• Drive proactive outreach: chase pending documents, signatures and delivery confirmations, keeping clients and sales teams informed and unblocked.
• Surface recurring friction: document, diagnose and escalate process failures or product gaps that repeatedly slow deals.
• Keep playbooks current: maintain and extend documentation for every ops scenario to support scaling, fast onboarding and AI agents.
• Feed the product roadmap: map manual touchpoints and provide input to product teams for automation priorities.
• Track funnel health: report on time‑to‑fund, stage conversion and document turnaround, surfacing blockers early with supporting data.

Required profile

• Operations foundation: 1‑3 years in loan operations, deal operations, order management or fintech operations.
• Cross‑team coordinator: experience moving information and documents across multiple internal teams and external clients.
• Detail discipline: strong attention to missing fields, unsigned pages or mismatched dates in lending documents.
• Strong English: clear written and spoken communication with clients and internal teams.
• Comfortable with numbers: ability to track ops metrics, spot blockers and act on them.
• Automation‑mindset: experience with automation or AI tools in an ops workflow, or eagerness to build them.
