Lead Tech Recruiter – LATAM

About the role

SunnyData is looking for an experienced Lead Tech Recruiter to drive the full recruitment lifecycle for Data & AI talent across Latin America. You will lead and mentor a small LATAM recruiting team while partnering closely with the VP of Talent Acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Source and attract Data & AI professionals through job boards, social media, networking and talent pools.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for roles such as Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Full‑Stack Developers and Technical Product Managers.
• Act as an informal lead for the LATAM team, setting weekly priorities, balancing requisitions and coaching junior recruiters.
• Track pipeline metrics, share progress and risks with leadership, and continuously improve recruiting processes.
• Partner with hiring managers and delivery leaders to understand role requirements and ensure a great candidate experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years recruiting for technology roles, with at least 2 years leading a small team.
• Proven experience hiring Data & AI talent across multiple LATAM countries.
• Strong ability to assess technical concepts at a screening level.
• Excellent communication, customer‑centric mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced English; preferably based in Uruguay or Argentina.
