Lead Security Engineer (Kubernetes) – Remote

About the role

As a Lead Security Engineer (Kubernetes) you will direct the security architecture and technical strategy for containerized cloud environments, establishing robust protection frameworks and driving compliance across multi‑cluster systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security accreditation architecture and define technical direction for highly secure cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and policies for container orchestration platforms and infrastructure code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and security awareness.
• Drive cross‑functional compliance and governance initiatives to meet stringent industry and regulatory standards.
• Automate security verification and integration processes within the deployment lifecycle to ensure continuous compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes security and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid experience with AWS, EKS, and CI/CD automation tools.
• Experience leading security accreditation architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
