Lead Data Analyst, Growth & Experimentation

About the role

LawnStarter is building the nation’s leading on‑demand marketplace for lawn care and home services. As the first analyst dedicated entirely to Growth and Experimentation, you will own the experimentation program, from test design to statistical readouts, and shape the acquisition‑to‑conversion funnel across paid, organic and partner channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enforce rigorous experimentation standards, including power calculations, sample‑size decisions and significance criteria.
• Maintain and extend the self‑serve experimentation layer using Lightdash, Python‑backed statistical tooling and Claude AI routines.
• Develop and keep trusted growth‑funnel models that track visitor → lead → customer metrics, CAC, LTV and conversion rates across all brands and channels.
• Collaborate with the CRO, performance marketing and Growth PMs to prioritize tests and translate insights into actionable decisions.

Required profile

• AI‑native analyst who routinely uses AI for SQL, dbt and statistical validation.
• Proactive partner who anticipates growth questions and pushes back on weak evidence.
• Statistically sharp with deep knowledge of test design, power analysis and false‑positive mitigation.
• Comfortable owning end‑to‑end instrumentation (Segment events, Flagsmith randomization) and fixing tracking issues before launch.
