Land Commission Specialist – Travel Finance

About the role

The Land Commission Specialist supports the accounting team of Global Travel Collection by handling daily data‑entry, commission reconciliation and reporting tasks. This position ensures accurate processing of commission payments and cash receipts for travel advisors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and maintain commission records, investigating and resolving internal and external commission issues.
• Generate weekly commission reports and request additional booking details from suppliers or advisors when needed.
• Allocate commission payments to the correct accounts, customers and advisors in a timely manner.
• Post cash receipts to the appropriate division, account and invoice, and balance daily cash receipt files against bank deposit totals.
• Communicate with vendors and travel advisors regarding short‑paid balances, unidentified payments and process improvements.
• Validate daily deposits in the GiaDocs system and ensure proper export to Emagia CMS for release to NetSuite and AOS.
• Assist with other land‑related functions and special projects as workload permits.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related finance functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• 2‑ or 4‑year degree in finance or accounting preferred, but not mandatory.
