Junior Infrastructure Technician

About the role

This position is for a Junior Infrastructure Technician who will join a technical team to provide hardware and software support to internal users and assist in managing the corporate IT and communications platform, with a focus on networking and security.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite or remote technical support to internal users.
• Install, repair, and maintain PC hardware and printers.
• Install and configure institutional and third‑party software.
• Participate in configuration and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
• Support Active Directory administration (cloud and on‑premise).
• Perform basic network maintenance: cabling, switch, router, firewall, and access‑point configuration.
• Maintain Office 365 licenses and accounts.
• Assist in cloud service administration (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) under supervision.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Systems Analysis, IT Technician, or related field.
• Enthusiastic about starting a professional career in IT infrastructure.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules and attend on‑site events.

Required skills

• PC and printer repair.
• Basic Windows and Linux administration.
• Network configuration and maintenance (switches, routers, firewalls, APs).
• Active Directory (cloud and local).
• Office 365 administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, DigitalOcean.
