IT Business Analyst

About the role

Internova Travel Group is seeking an IT Business Analyst with a strong quality‑assurance mindset to join its development team. The role bridges internal developers and external stakeholders, ensuring that requirements are clear, consistent, and that delivered solutions meet business expectations before reaching customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and refine customer or external BA requirements, turning high‑level requests into well‑defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Participate in stakeholder calls, translate business language into technical specifications, and manage follow‑ups and clarifications.
• Maintain a clean, prioritized backlog, break down complex tasks, identify dependencies, and support sprint planning and estimation.
• Design test scenarios and cases covering happy paths, edge cases, and negative flows; perform functional testing before delivery (pre‑UAT validation).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure features meet defined requirements and reduce defects reaching UAT.
• Help define and enforce Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), and standard requirement templates.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, decision logs, and ensure knowledge accessibility.
• Track requirement quality issues, defect leakage, and rework causes, proposing data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong QA mindset with experience in functional testing and pre‑UAT validation.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a translator between business and technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and support agile sprint activities.
