GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician ensures that assigned cleanroom areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with GMP standards. Working closely with team members, the technician follows written and verbal instructions to maintain a controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary GMP work area, performing repetitive cleaning tasks and sanitization duties.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures; stop unsafe behavior when observed.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and adhere to gowning procedures.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and report maintenance issues.
• Support shift lead by completing punch‑list items, work orders, and shutdown cleaning.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Act as a fill‑in for staffing shortages and assist with area classification tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant cleaning or GMP experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; forklift certification may be required.
• Completion of all safety and task‑training certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning equipment and use of cleaning compounds.
• Knowledge of GMP sanitation procedures.
• Chemical safety handling.
• Forklift operation (if certified).
• CPR/AED/First Aid.
