Global Procurement Innovation & System Implementation Lead

About the role

As the Global Procurement Innovation & System Implementation Lead, you will drive the digital transformation of ABB's procurement function. You will work across multiple business areas to introduce new technologies, evaluate system opportunities, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Promote an innovation mindset and identify new procurement system opportunities, applications, and functionalities.
• Lead end‑to‑end project execution, including team formation, planning, monitoring, and control of internal and external resources.
• Track project progress, resource utilization, and financial performance, providing regular status reports.
• Collaborate closely with external service providers, implementation partners, and support teams to guarantee system performance.
• Manage formal project acceptance and user sign‑off in line with agreed scope and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT/IS, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or related field.
• General project management experience with proven delivery of complex initiatives.
• Supply chain management or sourcing experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Implementation experience with procurement systems, ideally SAP Ariba or similar tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
