General Ledger Analyst

About the role

Blend is seeking a General Ledger Analyst to support month‑end close activities across North America, EMEA and LATAM entities. The role ensures accurate GL records, compliance with US GAAP and local standards, and collaborates with Payroll, Accounts Payable and other cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, including intercompany loans, markup calculations and lease accounting entries.
• Manage workers’ compensation accruals and related close tasks.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations for core entities and subsidiaries using FloQast.
• Support finance reporting and participate in accounting team meetings.
• Automate data input processes and ensure proper coding and documentation.
• Process foreign and local invoices through Yooz, record and reconcile vendor bills, and review corporate credit‑card expense reports.
• Assist US payroll month‑end close, health‑benefit reclassifications and resolve payroll issues.
• Coordinate international payroll with external providers and manage UK pension (NEST) enrollment and contributions.
• Administer HR data in Zoho People.
