Fullstack Engineer – Scala & TypeScript

About the role

We are looking for a senior Fullstack Engineer who will own features from the Scala backend to the TypeScript UI, helping our customer build a modern semantic layer for data and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features across the stack – roughly 70 % Scala backend APIs and 30 % TypeScript UI components.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools for code generation, review, testing and investigation while maintaining full ownership of the code you ship.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, onboarding and technical problem‑solving to raise engineering standards.
• Resolve ambiguous or incomplete requirements by proposing clear technical approaches and driving execution.
• Collaborate asynchronously with remote teams across the US, Latin America and Europe using strong written communication.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building, owning and shipping production software end‑to‑end.
• Strong functional programming background with Scala.
• Fluent across the stack with proven experience in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Deep expertise in SQL and a solid understanding of relational databases and query behavior.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and thriving in fast‑paced, asynchronous environments.
