Front-End Developer – React & Next.js (5+ yrs)

About the role

TCS is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support a major U.S.-based client. You will be responsible for building high‑quality, responsive, and scalable web interfaces using modern React and Next.js technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, reusable, and scalable front‑end components with React and Next.js.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs into UI components and manage client‑side state, caching, and error handling.
• Optimize performance for faster rendering and smooth user experience.
• Translate UX flows from Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch into pixel‑perfect UI screens.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, code reviews, and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate with QA during functional and UI testing cycles.
• Support deployment activities through CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Troubleshoot issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Document processes, components, and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with React and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven experience consuming and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to work closely with backend teams, designers, and QA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern front‑end tooling.
