Freelance Peer Reviewer – Road Construction & Traffic Engineering

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers to provide expert peer reviews for journals and publishers in the fields of road construction and traffic engineering. This freelance position allows you to work independently, applying your academic expertise to assess manuscript quality and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Assess study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and scientific soundness.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors and editors.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least two peer‑review‑eligible publications within the last two years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
