Financial Data Operations Analyst

About the role

WorldQuant is seeking a Financial Data Operations Analyst to serve as the Security Master Specialist. In this role you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Security Master across multiple asset classes, supporting research, front‑office, and execution teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date Security Master for global equities, futures, options, and other assets.
• Liaise with Treasury Services to track and resolve data exceptions.
• Manage day‑to‑day exceptions and oversee a team of consultants handling these tasks.
• Research and monitor exchange notices and corporate actions, providing timely commentary to multiple teams.
• Gather accurate information from brokers, data vendors, issuers, and exchanges to ensure corporate actions are correctly represented.
• Ensure consistent application of corporate actions across all asset classes and alert teams to any delays or inaccuracies.
• Verify valuation data for all asset classes, identifying and resolving breaks with relevant parties.
• Assist in onboarding and testing new Security Master features, and develop related operational procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing data within a firm‑wide Security Master.
• Hands‑on experience with corporate actions processing.
• Strong familiarity with data validation, exception handling, and pricing discrepancy resolution.
• Solid understanding of financial instruments and their lifecycle.
