Engineer I – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer I – Manufacturing to join Integer’s medical‑device manufacturing team. In this entry‑level position you will apply core engineering methods and begin to work with advanced technologies to support product and process development while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques to evaluate, modify and document specifications, procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct failure analysis on existing products, processes and materials and propose improvements.
• Participate in moderate‑complexity projects to develop, document and implement new product and process technologies.
• Plan, schedule and execute engineering tasks within larger projects or lead smaller‑scope initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems, FDA regulations and company safety, environmental and security policies.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or 0‑2 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to work independently with occasional guidance from senior engineers.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Commitment to Integer’s values and to maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Required skills

• Fundamental engineering methods and tools.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with failure analysis and process improvement techniques.
