About the role

We are looking for a Junior Workshop Manager to join a company that operates a fleet of trucks and heavy machinery. The role involves applying preventive and predictive maintenance plans while driving continuous improvement of workshop processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle maintenance activities and ensure availability of fleet for operations.
• Assign and supervise maintenance tasks, monitor progress and quality.
• Evaluate workshop staff performance, provide feedback and implement improvement actions.
• Maintain technical contact with suppliers and schedule spare‑part purchases.
• Analyze and control maintenance‑related expenses.
• Ensure reliability of maintenance management and perform controls using maintenance software.

Required profile

• Young professional with tertiary education in mechanics (Industrial Mechanical Technologist, technical courses or similar).
• Willingness to work in a hands‑on workshop environment.
