Development Manager (.NET / Full Stack)

About the role

ALTOUR is seeking a Development Manager to lead a small team that builds and maintains internal business systems and customer‑facing portals. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on technical guidance, ensuring agile delivery and high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage developers delivering internal business systems and enterprise customer‑facing applications.
• Own sprint execution and Agile rhythms, including planning, backlog refinement, stand‑ups, retrospectives, test planning, risk identification and status reporting.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize work, clarify requirements and translate business needs into delivery plans.
• Provide technical leadership across .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, APIs, Azure, DevOps and front‑end development, ensuring alignment with architecture and coding standards.
• Enforce engineering standards for source control, code review, testing, CI/CD, release readiness, documentation and production support.
• Champion secure development and DevSecOps practices, using tools such as Snyk for vulnerability scanning.
• Drive responsible adoption of AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity.
• Validate AI‑generated code, requirements and documentation before merge or release.
• Use AI‑supported metrics to identify blockers, technical debt and modernization opportunities.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a high‑performance, accountable engineering culture.
