Business Development Manager – South Cone (Remote)

About the role

RateHawk, a leading travel‑tech brand within Emerging Travel Group, is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its presence across the South Cone (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay). This remote role combines sales, partnership building, and market analysis to drive growth in a fast‑moving industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales activities to meet growth targets in the assigned territory.
• Identify, onboard and train new partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, TMCs and OTAs.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with existing partners and provide first‑level support.
• Prepare, negotiate and manage commercial agreements, including documentation and technical setup.
• Monitor compliance with commercial terms and oversee payment flows.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings, industry events and business trips.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis and deliver regular reports via CRM and internal tools.
• Initiate API integration deals with both new and existing partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience in the travel industry.
• Deep knowledge of the South Cone travel market and its B2B networks.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time.
• Strong analytical mindset, data‑driven decision making and comfort with fast‑changing environments.
• Proactive, results‑focused, and able to work collaboratively across cultures.
