Business Analyst – Finance Systems Automation

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for a Business Analyst to design and implement automated solutions for finance‑related processes. You will translate complex manual workflows into efficient, scalable system designs while collaborating closely with finance, business, and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing manual finance processes and convert them into automated, system‑based solutions.
• Gather, validate and document business and system requirements.
• Design, propose and implement new or improved business system processes.
• Develop and execute test scripts to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, user guides and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align expectations and deliver solutions.
• Manage multiple small projects and priorities simultaneously within defined timelines.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in business process analysis, systems analysis or application support, preferably in finance or banking.
• Knowledge of account reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, business systems and systems analysis methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a fast‑paced environment.
