Bookkeeper – Hospitality Industry (Remote)

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support its hospitality clients. This fully remote position serves LATAM markets and works closely with hotel management teams to ensure accurate daily financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily hotel transactions, including room revenue, food & beverage sales, and ancillary services.
• Prepare and deliver timely financial reports for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and update hotel accounting ledgers using industry‑standard software.
• Assist with month‑end close, variance analysis, and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with the global team to improve bookkeeping processes and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and proactive in problem‑solving.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Availability to work 9 AM–5 PM EST to ensure overlap with the team.
• Comfortable operating as an independent contractor.
