BIM Team Leader MEP (Job Captain)

About the role

ENG, a BIM company founded in 2007 and based in the United States, is looking for a Job Captain to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams on complex architectural and engineering projects. The role covers MEP modeling, VDC/BIM management, laser scanning and scan-to-BIM services, and is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor modelers, ensuring adherence to best practices, project standards and timelines.
• Proactively identify missing or conflicting information and manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently.
• Conduct in-depth Quality Control reviews across assigned disciplines.
• Influence modeling strategies and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets with a focus on cost control and align with project objectives.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered.
• Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare and residential construction, including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment and plumbing systems.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering; architects may be considered only with extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades.
• +5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks on large-scale MEP projects.
• Experience managing teams of modelers and dealing directly with clients.
• Nice to have: familiarity with U.S.-based construction projects.

Required skills

• Revit modeling of MEP systems.
• Navisworks clash detection and coordination (Revizto may be considered, but Navisworks is prioritized).
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC and model accuracy.
• Strong understanding of project scope, standards and technical documentation.
