AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong Linux background to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, helping to build, deploy, and maintain cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and harden Linux production servers, including patching, backups, and AD integration.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Automate provisioning across on‑premises and AWS environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Maven, Gradle and support Java, Spring and Node.js applications.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and related tooling.
• Monitor systems using Splunk, Dynatrace or similar observability platforms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (four‑year college).
• Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash or comparable languages.
