Auditor Junior Externo Contable (Part‑time)

About the role

PwC Uruguay is looking for a Junior External Accounting Auditor to join its Assurance team on a part‑time, hybrid basis. This entry‑level position is ideal for accounting students who want hands‑on experience in audit, compliance and internal‑control evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and close inventory counts and physical asset verifications.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial data.
• Read and summarize simple contracts and meeting minutes.
• Analyze compliance with Uruguay’s Law 16060 on commercial companies.
• Review and organize documentation such as invoices, payment orders, contracts, and memos.
• Support audit procedures and assess internal control systems and data‑processing workflows.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Public Accountant (Contador Público) program.
• Intermediate English proficiency (desired but not mandatory).
• No prior professional experience required.
• Available for part‑time work in a hybrid setting.
