Analista Junior de Presupuesto

About the role

The Junior Budget Analyst will support the preparation of the annual budget, its forecasts and the monitoring of budget execution. The role provides timely and reliable economic‑financial information to aid decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating, updating and tracking the annual budget and its projections.
• Analyze variances between budget, forecast and actual results.
• Monitor and analyze expenses by responsibility centers.
• Participate in month‑end closing processes linked to budgeting and expense control.
• Consolidate data related to personnel costs.
• Prepare financial analysis reports and budgetary KPI tracking.
• Load, validate and transform data in corporate planning tools.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to gather and analyse information required for the budgeting process.

Required profile

• Advanced or graduate students in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in budgeting, financial planning, finance or management control.
• Strong accounting knowledge and experience with payroll‑related entries.
• Ability to work with large data sets and maintain confidentiality.
• Analytical mindset, organized, detail‑oriented and proactive.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Power BI (preferred)
• SQL (preferred)
• Experience with financial planning tools
