Analista de Créditos

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join a national wholesale company that imports technology and office supplies. The role involves evaluating credit requests, monitoring accounts, and supporting the collections process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze credit applications from new and existing customers.
• Control and invoice safeguards for governmental entities.
• Assess commercial, financial and credit backgrounds to determine payment capacity.
• Prepare credit notes and issue corresponding receipts after analysis.
• Request and evaluate documentation required for credit assessment.
• Monitor granted credit lines and propose adjustments when needed.
• Reconcile current accounts, due dates and exposure levels.
• Identify risk situations and alert on potential defaults.
• Follow up overdue balances and assist the collections team.
• Produce reports and indicators on portfolio, delinquency, due dates and credit risk.
• Coordinate with the Commercial area on credit limits, retained orders and commercial conditions.
• Escalate exceptions for proper authorization.
• Maintain fluid communication with internal and external clients, balancing commercial activity with risk control.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and authorization levels.

Required profile

• Student of Administration, Public Accounting, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• 1‑2 years of experience in credit analysis, current accounts, collections, administration or finance.
• Knowledge of credit and financial analysis, commercial information interpretation, KPI development and monitoring.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
