AI Engineering Manager

About the role

Blend is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting‑edge AI solutions. You will work within a cross‑functional team on projects that leverage Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, agentic frameworks, and end‑to‑end MLOps pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and launch scalable AI applications using tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, and Google ADK.
• Implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and fine‑tuning techniques for large language models.
• Apply advanced prompt‑engineering methods to solve complex problems.
• Develop and maintain agentic frameworks and integrate them with existing systems.
• Establish MLOps best practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and performance tracing.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure alignment with broader development goals.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience designing and deploying AI solutions at scale.
• Strong understanding of machine‑learning and traditional AI concepts.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
