AI Engineering Lead

About the role

Blend is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to design and build intelligent systems that automate supply chain processes. You will combine machine‑learning models with agentic AI solutions to predict scenarios and optimise decision‑making, while delivering user‑friendly front‑end applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of AI‑driven solutions for supply‑chain optimisation.
• Build and orchestrate agentic AI systems that automate decision‑making workflows.
• Develop, train, and integrate predictive machine‑learning models into business processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Design and implement user‑facing applications using React with a strong focus on UX/UI.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of AI systems in production.
• Set technical standards, drive best practices, and mentor engineering team members.

Required profile

• Strong experience in AI/ML engineering and production‑level systems.
• Hands‑on experience with agentic AI or autonomous decision‑making frameworks.
• Proficiency in front‑end development using React.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and user‑centred design.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate predictive models into business workflows.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
