Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

Howard Financial is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join its fast‑paced Finance team. The role supports a high‑volume transaction environment and helps accelerate the month‑end closing cycle for clients in the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end AP cycle, verifying and processing large volumes of invoices quickly and accurately.
• Support month‑end close by streamlining AP tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements for a consistent AP process.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and manage payment schedules.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to handle large workloads and improve financial processes.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on detail.
• Goal‑oriented, aiming to stabilize daily volume and speed up month‑end closing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
