UX UI Designer

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services Uruguay is seeking a UX UI Designer to support a global customer. The role blends creative design with technical collaboration in a hybrid or onsite environment, depending on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create visual assets, graphics, and images that meet business requirements.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and asset repositories.
• Develop new design elements that improve usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• Ensure designs follow responsive design principles and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
• Support implementation by working closely with development teams to guarantee design accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a UI/UX or product designer.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
