Treasury Analyst

About the role

The Treasury Analyst will manage daily purchase payments, ensure cut‑off times are met, and maintain accurate Treasury reporting. The role also includes handling group and personal mailboxes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the Treasury Technology & Payments team.

Key responsibilities

• Process Demurrage, Derivative, Regular Oil/NF, finance payments, cash transfers, SWIFTs, offsets, and intercompany payments on time.
• Provide MT103 & MT202 SWIFT copies as proof of payment to internal stakeholders.
• Generate and review reports to meet payment cut‑off deadlines.
• Manage foreign‑currency payments with the Treasury FX team, applying correct FX rates.
• Maintain systematic mailbox management for both group and individual accounts.
• Liaise with banks and internal teams to resolve queries and issues.
• Perform daily internal account reconciliations using reports from the Reconciliation department.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish (C2+).
• Bachelor’s degree or final‑year student.
• Strong numerical literacy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes of transactions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Database handling skills.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT103, MT202).
• Understanding of financial controls.
• Basic bookkeeping and accounting experience.
