Technical Product Support Engineer – Remote (Americas)

About the role
Telnyx is looking for a curious, technically‑minded problem solver to join its product support team. You will work remotely across the Americas, troubleshooting complex customer issues that span voice, messaging, APIs, IoT, and AI‑driven products.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve networking, API, and communications problems using tools such as Postman, cURL, Wireshark, and Linux terminals.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and engineering teams via Zendesk and Slack to drive issue resolution.
- Contribute to the AI‑first support model by building bots, automating workflows, and scripting repetitive tasks.
- Document solutions and enhance self‑service resources for the support community.
- Continuously learn VoIP protocols, internal systems, and emerging technologies.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience in computer science, IT, networking, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of internet fundamentals – DNS, routing, IP addressing, HTTP/HTTPS.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams.
