Team Lead – Software Engineer (Security)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Team Lead who will split time between leadership and coding in a fast‑paced, security‑focused environment. The role combines people management with active development on backend and full‑stack security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a small‑to‑medium agile engineering team.
• Contribute directly to code development, focusing on security‑related features.
• Break down epics into actionable tasks, run planning sessions, and ensure consistent delivery.
• Drive security remediation: vulnerability fixes, NuGet dependency updates, secrets management, and code hardening.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and overall engineering efficiency.
• Support MFA implementation and centralized Identity Provider integrations.
• Translate security findings and technical debt into prioritized Azure DevOps stories.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing small‑to‑medium agile teams.
• Strong background modernizing legacy .NET applications.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and remediation processes.
