Software Testing Engineer II

About the role

Integer is seeking a Software Testing Engineer II to contribute to the development and validation of software used in implantable medical devices. The role combines hands‑on testing, failure analysis, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, compliant products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute detailed testing phases for moderate‑scope projects.
• Review test procedures and plans, conduct failure analysis, and perform inspections on products, processes, and materials.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for device configuration and follow‑up.
• Implement software programs for implantable medical systems and propose alternative solutions for open requirements.
• Develop and run unit, integration, stress, and regression tests, writing special code when necessary.
• Collaborate on test planning for complex software features and coordinate development phases with project leaders.
• Prepare all required documentation and ensure compliance with quality, safety, FDA, and other regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
• Experience in application development and software testing for regulated environments.
• Ability to independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard engineering techniques.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem‑solving and continuous improvement.

• C# (C Sharp) programming.
