Software Testing Engineer II

About the role

Integer is seeking a Software Testing Engineer II to contribute to the development and validation of implantable medical device software. The role involves designing, testing, and maintaining applications that support device configuration and follow‑up, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute detailed phases of engineering work for moderate‑scope projects.
• Review test procedures and plans, conduct failure analysis, and perform inspections on products, processes, and materials.
• Design, develop, document, and maintain software applications used for implantable medical device configuration.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, stress, and regression tests.
• Collaborate on test‑procedure reviews, test planning for complex software features, and coordinate development phases with project leaders.
• Investigate, develop, and implement new process technologies of moderate scope.
• Prepare required documentation and paperwork for all projects.
• Propose alternative solutions for open requirements and contribute to software requirement generation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
• Experience in applications development, preferably in the medical device sector.
• Ability to adhere to company values, safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including FDA regulations.
• Capability to work independently, evaluate standard engineering techniques, and devise new problem‑solving approaches.
