Software QA Tester – R&D – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a talented Software QA Tester to join BairesDev’s Research & Development (R&D) team. The role involves ensuring the quality of web products through comprehensive testing, documentation, and collaboration with developers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze end‑user requirements to define and document test plans.
• Execute test cases, debug, detect defects and potential improvements, document them and track resolution.
• Generate reports on test results and identified defects.
• Prioritize and schedule testing of system requirements.
• Document system functionalities.
• Represent the end‑user to developers to ensure requirements are met.
• Identify and propose improvements to quality‑control processes and the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience testing web products.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools.
• Experience creating test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of web technologies.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Advanced English and Portuguese language skills.
