Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

WorldQuant is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain highly reliable, scalable software systems that support its production investment pipeline. You will work closely with developers to improve system availability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor platform performance, define metrics, and enhance reliability.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and promote best DevOps practices.
• Containerize services and scale them to meet business demand.
• Manage hardware estate and file‑system resources.
• Apply industry‑standard security practices.
• Collaborate on new system designs and enhancements to existing infrastructure.
• Explore and adopt open‑source technologies while leveraging mature solutions.
• Participate actively in an agile engineering team focused on continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong passion for software engineering and operating large‑scale applications.
• Thoughtful, collaborative mindset with excellent problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Experience in Linux administration and command‑line tools.
