About the role
Vizit, a leader in Visual AI for ecommerce, is hiring a Senior Product Manager in Montevideo (hybrid) within its Product department, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The role owns business outcomes for the data platform covering retailer coverage, reporting, integrations and the API layer, working at the intersection of engineering, data science and technical partners.
Key responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for retailer data coverage, reporting, integrations and the API layer, balancing customer needs, business impact, technical considerations and development capacity.
- Build a deep understanding of enterprise customers and their workflows, and turn customer and market insights into product opportunities and priorities for the Data Team.
- Partner closely with Engineering throughout discovery, planning, development and launch, and with Design, Sales, Customer Success and Data Science.
- Understand the underlying systems (data pipelines, integrations, APIs, vendor ingestion) and define well-scoped work with clear technical requirements, constraints and success criteria.
- Evaluate solution options, tradeoffs and dependencies, and make pragmatic calls on vendor selection, integration scope and reporting architecture.
- Drive initiatives from discovery through delivery, launch and iteration, and own integration execution end to end.
- Define and track success metrics, using data and customer feedback to guide future priorities.
Required profile
- Proven ability to own products end to end, from ambiguous problem definition through delivery.
- Strong technical fluency and experience working with engineering and data science teams in an agile environment.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers and technical partners to gather and refine requirements.
- Experience building 0-to-1 products or capabilities in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English; experience defining success metrics and tracking business outcomes post-launch.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience on data platforms, analytics products or AI/ML-driven SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with retail data ecosystems, ecommerce or digital shelf (Amazon, Walmart).
- Exposure to web scraping infrastructure, ETL/ELT pipelines or large-scale data ingestion systems.
- Experience evaluating and onboarding third-party data vendors.
- Familiarity with PIM platforms (e.g. Salsify, Syndigo) or BI-adjacent features.
- Background in computer vision, image analytics or media optimization is a strong plus.
To apply, candidates send their application to the company's recruiting team.
