Senior Product Designer

About the role

DuckDuckGo, a remote-first team of 400+ focused on raising the standard of trust online, is looking for a Senior Product Designer. You will work with team members at all levels to solve problems across the current product offering and help pioneer new solutions for the privacy layer of the Internet. You will autonomously lead impactful projects that scale to millions of users, from ideation to execution, with a voice in all product-related design decisions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in product design roles, including 2+ years in senior-level positions at significant global consumer brands.
• Experience in multiple parts of the product process, including prioritization, strategy and user testing.
• Ability to communicate visual and interaction recommendations with high-quality mockups, prototypes and rationale.
• Ability to write creative briefs that define project goals, rationale and success metrics for stakeholders.
• Willingness to guide and support others while maintaining quality across areas of design.

Required skills

• Project management across proposal, execution and release, with cross-functional collaboration.
• Research and experimentation using qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions.
• Managing ambiguity and proposing innovative solutions with a focus on metrics.
• Applying agentic solutions to daily project management and design workflows.

What we offer

• Transparent pay plus stock options: $190,500 USD in the United States, £134,600 GBP in the United Kingdom, CA$253,500 CAD in Canada, and €157,350 EUR in other regions.
• Flexible work arrangement with no core hours, an average full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

Travel is expected at least twice a year (all-hands meetup and team retreat, each 4-5 days), and candidates must pass a background check. The role is remote-first.
