Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Promtior is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to act as the technical reference for its Agentic AI solutions. This client‑facing position will guide the design, development, and deployment of production‑grade ML systems while mentoring the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full model lifecycle: data processing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, serving, monitoring, and retraining.
• Define scalable architecture for data and ML pipelines, establishing standards for validation, testing, versioning, and production monitoring.
• Make and justify technical trade‑offs between classical ML, generative AI, and agentic approaches, balancing accuracy, cost, and latency.
• Serve as the technical counterpart for clients, translating business problems into ML solutions and defending design decisions.
• Mentor engineers, review code, and promote MLOps best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Advanced or completed studies in Systems Engineering, Data Science, AI or related fields.
• 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience productionizing machine learning models.
• Strong command of Python and major ML libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proven experience with end‑to‑end model lifecycle, monitoring, and retraining strategies.
• Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and integrating APIs and backend services.
