Senior Golang Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join our talent network and work on remote, project‑based engagements for U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go in production environments.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Deploy and operate cloud‑native applications on AWS, especially using EKS.
• Contribute to frontend features or bug fixes in Angular, Ionic, or React when needed.
• Own end‑to‑end system delivery, including CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams, delivering production‑ready code quickly while ensuring reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Strong backend development experience with Go in live systems.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, AWS (EKS), and cloud‑native deployments.
• Ability to work across the stack and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Experience in lean or high‑growth environments where engineers wear multiple hats.
• Proven track record of shipping production code with high quality and reliability.
