Senior Fullstack Platform Go Engineer

About the role

The Global Tech team is looking for a Senior Fullstack Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and event‑driven systems that power a wide range of digital products. You will work within the Integration Platform team, collaborating with multiple engineering and business groups to ensure reliable data exchange and system interoperability.

Key responsibilities

• Design distributed systems using iteratively‑shipped components.
• Develop and enhance an event system that enables loose coupling across services.
• Build simple tools to support frontline staff.
• Maintain and evolve the product registration platform.
• Support integrations with Point‑of‑Sale systems for an omni‑channel strategy.
• Manage a clean CI/CD pipeline for frequent, robust releases.
• Collaborate with teammates to design best‑fit technical solutions.
• Identify root causes of issues and propose innovative fixes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Go, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures.
• Deep knowledge of REST API design and web fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, ECS).
• Proficiency with Docker containers.
• Solid data‑modeling skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Ability to communicate technical designs to both technical and business audiences.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative, and comfortable writing production‑ready code.
• Experience with observability practices (metrics, logging, tracing).
