Senior Backend Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based development. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client teams and contribute to daily development activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs, including GraphQL endpoints.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Utilize AWS services to build scalable cloud solutions.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage source control with GitHub.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and ensure high‑quality code delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely.

Required skills

• C#/.NET, Java, or Go.
• PostgreSQL, MySQL (or similar relational databases).
• API design and development, including GraphQL.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related services.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS for container orchestration.
• Redis caching.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• GitHub source‑control workflows.
• Microservices architecture and service‑to‑service integration.
