Senior Accountant (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our remote LATAM team. The role blends rigorous accounting fundamentals with strategic financial analysis to help shape a more profitable future for our US‑based home improvement clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting, including month‑end close, bank reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of financial statements.
• Analyze P&L trends and deliver clear, strategic commentary to leadership.
• Audit and improve current financial workflows and technology stack to reduce manual entry.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting in partnership with the Fractional CFO.
• Conduct project profitability audits to ensure costs align with estimates.
• Develop and document internal financial controls and SOPs for scalability.

Required profile

• Significant experience with accrual‑based home improvement companies (interior designers, general contractors, trade firms).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience for US‑based companies, familiar with US business structures.
• Strategic thinker who can translate data into executive decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (certified).
• Experience with modern receipt‑capture and AP automation tools.
